I finished the ARC of this book last night and let it marinate in my brain in order to make this review as concise as possible。 Admittedly， I am a huge fan of Ella’s fantasy books and am so thankful to have received an ARC of my most anticipated releases。 This book went in a direction that was a little different than what I expected and not in a bad way。 In Ella， we trust！ The best way to describe this book is a slow healing process with the most delicious slow grovel。 Be prepared that our girl I finished the ARC of this book last night and let it marinate in my brain in order to make this review as concise as possible。 Admittedly， I am a huge fan of Ella’s fantasy books and am so thankful to have received an ARC of my most anticipated releases。 This book went in a direction that was a little different than what I expected and not in a bad way。 In Ella， we trust！ The best way to describe this book is a slow healing process with the most delicious slow grovel。 Be prepared that our girl has some TRAUMA to heal from， as warranted！ It really broke my heart to see our curious butterfly be a broken version of herself， and the care that our king takes in order to bring her back to life。 This book was so beautifully written， and poignant。 I do believe Ella is a witch in the way that she crafts， the story and the words that resonate with me。 I will admit that I expected a lot more wrath given the title， but I would not change a single thing about this book because it was perfect for the couple。 Also， holy plot twist did not see that coming at all！！！！！The spice level was turned way up for this book 🥵 Thank you for the ARC。 This review is my own thoughts and opinions！ 。。。more
